FLYT is an online helicopter booking service, which allows you to book helicopter charter flights using an easy to use website.

With FLYT you can simply enter your destination and pick-up location, and we will locate the most suitable helicopters for you to choose from.

FLYT operates throughout the UK and offers helicopter charter flights to popular destinations such as London heliport, Royal Ascot, Silverstone, Goodwood.

Who flies the helicopters?

We have partnered with licensed helicopter operators throughout the UK who hold valid Air Operators Certificates (AOCs).

Does FLYT provide transfers (i.e. Taxi/Chauffeurs) to departure and arrival locations?

Yes, we have an option to select a transfer during the booking process.

Are there any additional fees I should be aware of?

We will provide you with the full amount for your helicopter charter which will be inclusive of all landing fees and taxes.

When will find I out the cost for my flight?

All our prices shown on the website are estimates. We will be in contact with you via email once you request a quote.

What are the methods of Payment?

We can accept bank transfers and payment by credit or debit card.

When will I be charged for my flight?

You will be charged once all the details for your helicopter charter have been confirmed.

Do you keep my personal Information on record after booking/a flight?

Can I change my flight once it has been booked?

We always try to accommodate your needs and if you wish to change your departure time it is usually possible. Please contact us with any changes as early as possible to your flight schedule.

Can I cancel my flight?

We advise customers to give at least 48 hours notice before cancelling your flight, as you may not be entitled to a refund within the 48 hours.

What happens if I am late for my flight?

If you are running late for your flight you must inform us how late you will be and what time you are expected to arrive, so that we can inform the pilot/operator.

What happens if FLYT has to cancel a flight due to inclement weather or other reasons?

If your flight is cancelled by us due to unforeseen circumstances or weather conditions we aim to give you enough notice and confirmation beforehand.

How far in advance can I book a flight?

You must allow at least 24 hours notice to book a helicopter flight with us.

How do I know I am on the right flight?

Your pilot will meet you on the ground and introduce themselves. They will take you to the helicopter and brief you fully on the flight before you depart.

Which starting and ending addresses do I enter into the app?

You can enter an airport, heliport, airport, hotel etc as well as your private address. In the case of a private site we will need to carry out a site survey to ensure it’s safe to land at.

When do I need to arrive at the helipad?

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before boarding time.

Do I need to bring an ID with me?

Yes, you must bring ID (Passport or Driver’s License) to be able to board and confirm you are boarding the right flight.

What can I bring with me?

You can bring the items you would usually bring on a normal flight and a small hand luggage.

How much luggage can I take with me?

This depends on the helicopter type and how many passengers are flying. We will tell you when you book how much luggage you will be able to take.

Can I bring others along with me for the journey?

Please tell us in advance how many passengers will be on the flight.

Will other passengers be on my flight? How does FLYT work?

If you request us to keep the flight private, we can arrange that for you. We also offer individual seats on shuttle flights and these are listed on our destinations section.

How long is my flight?

The duration of your flight depends on the location of your destination. You will be given a time once you book your helicopter charter.

Is there a passenger weight limit?

Yes, depending on the number of passengers and the type of helicopter. We will ask you to confirm the approximate weights of all passengers before confirming your booking.

Is there parking available at the helipad?

Some helipads will have parking spaces for passengers. However, some may not depending on the location. We can arrange transport to the helipad to be safe.
